Brick, Stone, and Terra Cotta
Concrete & Masonry Restoration Company specializes in all types of masonry
restoration projects. All brick, stone, and terra cotta structures are in good hands with
     C&M Restoration.

Stone Restoration
Stone can be restored through patching, consolidation or sealing. Excessively
damaged stone is replaced with new stone units matching the type, color and shape
     as closely as possible.

Terra Cotta Restoration
Restoration of terra cotta can involve cleaning, re-coating, re-glazing, replacement,
     sculpting and patching.

Patching and Sculpting
High quality cementitious patching materials are formulated to match the color and
texture of the existing masonry, then used to patch the masonry unit. After patching
has been completed, C&M Restoration's experienced masons can shape and sculpt
the repaired masonry unit to its original shape.

Re-pointing
Deteriorating mortar joints are carefully removed to the depth of sound mortar. The
joints are then prepared and re-pointed using mortar matching the existing as closely
     as possible.

Brick and Block Replacement
Deteriorated brick and block is carefully removed from the façade and new matching
units are reinstalled within the prepared cavity.

Caulking
Caulk is a flexible urethane or silicone material which is placed in joints to prevent
moisture intrusion and/or allow for movement. Caulking can resolve leaks, minimize
HVAC losses, and prevent mold and pest intrusion.

Joint Grouting
Joint grouting is the process of applying a fine grout to good mortar joints which have
only minor surface imperfections. Joint grouting does not inhibit the joints ability to
breathe and does provide a more impervious mortar joint.

Masonry Cleaning
Atmospheric pollutants, dust, plant growth, and other visual discolorations are
carefully removed from masonry surfaces. Methods include controlled pressure water,
mild chemicals, hot water, and various forms of media blasting.

Supplemental Wall Ties
Supplemental wall ties are helical and mechanical, non-corroding units that tie
masonry veneers to the back-up frame.

Consolidation
Consolidation is a treatment of the masonry surface with repeated application of a
liquid solution which is applied by brush or spray. Masonry consolidation replaces the
natural constituents and binders which have broken down over time.

Clear Penetrating Sealers
Sealers are primarily utilized to minimize moisture intrusion into mortar and masonry
units without effecting the substrates ability to breathe. The sealer should not effect
     the original appearance.
